About Allison Fagerman
Allison was born and raised in Sterling, Illinois. She attended Sterling Public Schools, Sauk Valley Community College, and Western Illinois University majoring in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, and Justice Administration.

Allison met her husband in law school. Together, they have raised two wonderful children. After law school, Allison worked in Whiteside County, Illinois, representing poor people who were facing jail or incarceration as a potential sentence. She has tried now close to 30 jury trials in the Whiteside, Lee, and Carroll County areas, many arriving at verdicts of not guilty.
Allison has represented people over the years who in her mind, are actually innocent. She had the privilege and responsibility in seeing that Justice is served, that is letting them have their day in Court where they are zealously represented by an attorney who believes in their cause and holding the State to its burden of proof of proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
Allison has also represented individuals in involuntary civil commitment cases, also seeing these cases through verdict in a jury setting. During her career, she has handled many appeals primarily in the Third District Appellate Court but also in the Second District.
